Job description

Job Title : Engineer II – Software Test
Location: Louisville, CO (100% onsite)
Contract: 12 months (possible extension)

Role Overview:
We are looking for a mid-level Software Test Engineer to support testing of electromechanical medical devices with embedded software. This role is primarily focused on manual testing, defect tracking, and limited automation work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct manual testing, including smoke, integration, and dry-run testing

  • Review requirements and create test cases for verification and validation (V&V)

  • Detect, log, and track software defects

  • Build and maintain automated test scripts

  • Work closely with developers and cross-functional teams

  • Prepare test documentation and reports

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

  • 2–6 years of experience in software testing (manual with some automation)

  • Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies and processes

  • Testing certification is a plus

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Python and/or LabVIEW for automation

  • Background in embedded systems testing

  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps
