10 months Contract to Hire

Position Overview

The Cyclotron and Chemistry Solutions (CCS) group provides Molecular Imaging with products and solutions to build the infrastructure for making PET Biomarkers from Discovery to Production and Distribution. The CCS group produces particle accelerators used to make isotopes relevant to PET imaging and chemistry synthesis modules to create radiolabeled imaging agents. Over 200 units of the Eclipse11 MeV, negative ion cyclotron from Siemens are being operated in all corners of the globe for PET radioisotope production. The CCS Engineering and Development group is a small, focused, interdisciplinary team further developing the capacity of our accelerator and chemistry synthesis platforms to increase our ability to deliver isotopes and biomarkers to our customers.

CCS is looking for a senior systems engineer to join the R&D team. You will work with a cross-functional team throughout the product lifecycle to design, develop, test and integrate hardware and software for a variety of applications including accelerator control systems, subsystem control, RF systems, and data handling. The ideal candidate will have an electrical engineering education with knowledge and experience on both hardware and software platforms, as well as experience developing software applications, especially in LabVIEW.

In conjunction with CCS colleagues, capture engineering project requirements, including modifications and upgrades, as a result of either specific customer needs or pro-active product improvement.
