Job description


As Project Engineer I here at Honeywell supporting the Sheet Manufacturing market, you will play a critical role learning technical engineering product documentation to execute advanced engineering projects. You will be responsible for completing required remote and On-The-Job training in support of completing project scope, objectives, and technical deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will participate in project work plans to ensure efficient project execution and successful delivery.
The market you will be serving includes Pulp & Paper, Lithium-ion Battery, aluminum, rubber, plastic films, and OEMs making products where a continuous sheet is produced. The projects will be delivered using Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Quality Control Systems (QCS), Web inspection and Continuous Web Solutions (CWS) product lines as applicable
You will report directly to our Project Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our designated location in Duluth GA on a in the field and at the office work schedule.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our advanced engineering projects. You will be responsible for coordinating and communicating with stakeholders, managing project risks and issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and practices.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Associate's degree in from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • Knowledge of sheet manufacturing processes, measurement, and control in at least one of the following sheet manufacturing Industries (Paper, Extrusion polymer films, Tire Industries and Metals Rolling mills)
  • Experience in any Object-oriented programming languages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Valid Driver's License & Passport
  • Self-motivation and willingness to work in demanding environments with little or no supervision and take initiative to be proactive.
  • Willingness to travel +50% of the time after training is complete
