Job description

Title :Laboratory Test Engineer
Location: Norman ,OK
Typt : Contract /Fulltime
JOB Descriptions:
What you will do and how you will do it
1. Develop standard and consistent procedures for testing of products or components per industry standards.
2. Develop and continuously monitor accurate data reduction techniques and automate post-processing of test data using lab software.
3. Able to do data reduction software per latest agency standards and mathematical techniques to assess and make improvements in quality and risk associated with test data-reporting.
4. Demonstrate an understanding of how to operate computer systems for data acquisition, test result recording, project status reporting, and to document and manage test documentation records and reports.
5. Lead and coordinate test plan activities with lab personnel and coordinate equipment resources with lab management.
6. Conduct on-the-job training as required. Train lab personnel to make sound decisions based on test data and statistical methods.

• Work in a testing laboratory environment evaluating commercial ducted HVAC systems
• Participate in cross functional teams to improve laboratory testing processes and plans.
• Work with both local and remote engineering teams.
• Other testing duties as assigned
Required
• Bachelor's degree in engineering (with 2 years of relevant experience)
• Familiarity with board-level debug, hardware test, measurement equipment, mechanical, and control systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.
• Self-motivated with a determination to exceed project objectives.
• Ability to work in laboratory, manufacturing, and office environments.
Preferred
• Experience as a test or laboratory engineer and experience of working in laboratory environment.
• Experience of regulations and standards of HVAC industry.
