We'relooking for a dynamic, innovative and creative intermediate estimator who'scomfortable working in the consulting engineering industry. You'll activelyparticipate in meeting the growing demands of our clients. As a team member,you'll be responsible for tracking changes and estimating direct and indirectcosts for projects.

  • Help develop multidisciplinary estimates using engineering data, material quantity take-offs and/or scope of work documentation
  • Organize estimates based on the work breakdown structure and established cost coding
  • Help calculate hourly labour rates, productivity factors and indirect costs
  • Prepare assessments for allowances, markups and miscellaneous costs
  • Carry out material quantity take-offs
  • Participate in value analysis exercises and trade-off studies
  • Work closely with cost controllers and project planners
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimation methods, tools and procedures
  • When assigned to a site, assess any changes made by the client and/or subcontractor to original contracts
  • Prepare estimation execution plans and basis of estimate documents
