Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented General Labor / Forming Technician to support aerospace manufacturing operations. This position involves preparing, forming, handling, and inspecting aerospace components while following strict safety, quality, and production requirements.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable working with hand tools and manufacturing equipment, and able to follow detailed work instructions and specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform general labor and production tasks in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Assist with forming, bending, shaping, trimming, and fitting aerospace components and materials.
  • Operate basic hand tools, power tools, forming equipment, presses, and other production machinery as trained.
  • Load, unload, position, and move materials and components safely.
  • Read and follow work instructions, drawings, blueprints, and process specifications.
  • Measure parts using tape measures, calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections to verify parts meet specifications.
  • Identify and report defects, damage, or nonconforming material.
  • Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with 5S and safety requirements.
  • Follow all aerospace quality standards, company procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Properly handle and protect aerospace materials and finished components.
  • Work closely with forming, fabrication, quality, and production teams to meet daily production goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing, fabrication, sheet metal, forming, assembly, or general labor experience preferred.
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull 75lbs
  • Ability to read and understand basic drawings, instructions, and measurements.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to use hand tools and measuring equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and follow established safety procedures.

1st Shift- M-F 6 am – 3:30 pm
