Retro Environmental, una empresa bien establecida de Demolición Selectiva y Remediación Ambiental, está buscando contratar Trabajadores de Asbesto a Tiempo Completo para unirse a nuestro equipo.

Responsabilidades Principales:

Remoción de Asbesto:

  • Retirar de forma segura materiales que contienen asbesto de techos, paredes, vigas, calderas y otras estructuras según los requisitos del proyecto.

  • Usar herramientas manuales y eléctricas para remover asbesto y ayudar en la encapsulación o reparación de materiales que contienen asbesto.

Protocolos de Seguridad:

  • Usar equipo de protección personal (EPP) como respiradores, trajes protectores, guantes y protección ocular.

  • Preparar áreas de contención y unidades de descontaminación según las pautas.

  • Asegurar una ventilación adecuada en el área de trabajo y monitorear la calidad del aire.

Manejo de Residuos:

  • Embolsar, etiquetar y sellar adecuadamente los residuos de asbesto en contenedores herméticos.

  • Garantizar la disposición correcta de los residuos de asbesto en instalaciones designadas, cumpliendo con las regulaciones locales, estatales y federales.

Mantenimiento de Equipos:

  • Limpiar y mantener las herramientas, equipos y maquinaria utilizados en la remoción de asbesto.

  • Asegurar el funcionamiento adecuado de unidades de presión negativa y otros equipos de seguridad.

Capacitación Continua:

  • Mantenerse actualizado sobre las últimas pautas de seguridad, técnicas de remoción y regulaciones relacionadas con la eliminación de asbesto.

Requisitos:
  • Tener 18 años o más.

  • Capacidad para levantar 34 kg (75 lbs), subir escaleras y permanecer de pie o caminar durante períodos prolongados.

  • Capacidad para usar trajes protectores y respiradores durante períodos prolongados.

  • Requisitos específicos de visión: visión de cerca y de lejos, percepción de colores, visión periférica, percepción de profundidad y capacidad para enfocar.

  • Se realizará verificación de antecedentes penales y prueba de detección de drogas y alcohol.
