Job description

We are seeking dependable and hardworking Industrial Laborers / General Laborers to support operations within a large cement manufacturing facility. This hands-on position involves industrial cleaning, plant housekeeping, material handling, equipment area cleanup, and general labor duties throughout the facility.

Candidates with backgrounds in construction, manufacturing, warehouse operations, demolition, landscaping, mining, quarry operations, or other physically demanding environments are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping throughout the plant, including sweeping, shoveling, hosing down, and removing cement dust, debris, and waste materials.
  • Assist with moving and disposing of raw materials, by-products, and waste to designated areas.
  • Support maintenance and operations staff by clearing work areas, assisting with equipment access, and helping during maintenance shutdowns.
  • Operate basic cleaning equipment and tools such as brooms, shovels, vacuums, hoses, and other hand tools safely and effectively.
  • Assist with material handling, loading, unloading, and transporting supplies as directed.
  • Identify and report safety hazards, equipment blockages, and material buildup to supervisors.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain plant cleanliness to support operational efficiency and safety compliance.
  • Assist with inspections, sampling, and additional labor duties as assigned.
  • Work safely around heavy equipment, mobile machinery, conveyors, and active production areas.


Qualifications

  • Prior experience in industrial cleaning, construction, manufacturing, demolition, warehouse, landscaping, mining, quarry, or cement plant environments is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout an entire shift.
  • Comfortable lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, climbing, and performing repetitive labor tasks.
