Position Overview:
We are seeking hardworking and reliable Laborers to join our team. As a Laborer at USA SiteWorx, you will play an essential role in ensuring our projects run smoothly. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry and develop their skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Site Preparation & Maintenance: Assist in clearing obstacles and debris, and maintain a clean, safe job site.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and small machinery; assist with equipment maintenance.
  • Material Handling: Transport and position materials like dirt, gravel, and sand to designated areas.
  • Support to Skilled Workers: Assist Field Supervisors, Graders, and Site Work teams as needed.
  • Compliance & Safety: Follow safety guidelines and always maintain proper attire, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), safety vests and glasses when appropriate, long pants, hard sole/close-toed work boots, and presenting a clean and professional appearance.
  • Physical Labor: Perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, digging, and carrying heavy objects.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with team members and report any issues to supervisors.
  • Additional Duties: Assist in site cleanup and perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Physical Requirements:
  • Lifting & Carrying: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (e.g., 50-100 pounds) multiple times throughout the workday. Transport materials such as dirt, gravel, tools, and equipment across the job site.
  • Standing & Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often on uneven or rough terrain. Moving around construction sites to assist in various tasks.
  • Bending, Kneeling, & Crouching: Frequent bending, kneeling, and crouching to perform tasks such as digging, laying materials, or working at ground level. Ability to maintain these positions for extended periods while working.
  • Climbing: Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, or into/out of machinery or vehicles as needed. Safely navigate heights and maintain balance on uneven surfaces.
  • Manual Dexterity: Use of hands and fingers to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Operating hand tools, power tools, and machinery with precision.
  • Pushing and Pulling: Ability to push and pull heavy objects, such as equipment or materials, across job sites. Maneuvering objects into position as part of construction or site preparation activities.
  • Repetitive Motions: Performing the same physical motions repeatedly, such as hammering, digging, or sawing. Ability to maintain high levels of physical activity for extended periods.
