Job description

  • The job tasks may include, but are not limited to loading, unloading and moving materials from within or near the construction site from pallets, skids, trucks or other locations.
  • Laborers may also be asked to move materials to or from storage or work sites to designated area, using hand truck, wheelbarrow or other device. 
  • Additional laborer tasks could include but are not limited to driving equipment, such as bobcats and lulls, selective demolition, concrete placement or flagging. Lifting heavy objects by hand or power hoist and carrying heavy supplies to and from work area. 
  • Laborers are also responsible for cleaning work area, machines or other equipment using broom, water hose or blowers, and shoveling or raking loose materials such as dirt, sand and gravel.
