Job description

To perform a variety of duties not otherwise classified, requiring no particular skill or training and is classified as general labor such as: moving and handling materials, palletizing, shoveling, sorting materials, counting parts/materials, painting, sweeping, cleanup work, and other janitorial duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Operate industrial machinery.

· Operate various forklifts and cranes.

· Palletizing and sorting materials.

· Keep all common areas clean and orderly.

· Clean around machinery.

· Clean restrooms and lunchroom.

· Provide general housekeeping in parking lot and building entrances.

· Maintain inventory of necessary supplies.

· Run shop sweeper as required.

· Perform additional duties as deemed necessary.

Physical requirements

Must have full range of body motion.  Certain operations require repetitive bending, squatting and full arm extension.  Manual lifting, not exceeding fifty (50) pounds may be required.  Able to visit various manufacturing environments, and wear appropriate PPE such as hardhat, safety glass/goggles, protective jackets/aprons, safety toe boots.
