LABORER FIELD TECHNICIAN | ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Performs various hands-on work such as pressure washing, dry/wet vacuum truck operations support, steam cleaning, and basic industrial maintenance
  • Operates a company motor vehicle to travel to and from job sites
  • Operate hand tools, light machinery, and sharp tools while on job location
  • Provides care and light maintenance of tools and equipment to maintain their proper operation
  • Works in a safe and healthy manner in accordance with established safety and OSHA requirements


LABORER FIELD TECHNICIAN | POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS:

  • Full-time position
  • Ability to work flexible hours with some weekend and holidays
  • Overnight travel (Out Monday-Friday) may be required via company vehicle (hotel provided)
  • On-call availability occasionally on a rotating schedule


LABORER FIELD TECHNICIAN | REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A valid driver's license (for insurability purposes)
  • Has ability to read, understand, and carry out oral and written instructions and schedules
  • Gives respect to co-workers, clients, supervisors, and vendors

LABORER FIELD TECHNICIAN | PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Three (3) years of general labor or construction experience preferred


LABORER FIELD TECHNICIAN | WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

EWI's field service team works in a variety of industrial plants and settings. We encounter dust, oils, various commodities such as grain and fertilizer, in varying weather/temperature conditions. Employee must follow all safety standards and wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas.

This employee is required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk and hear. Must be able to regularly lift and carry 50 pounds.
