Job description

Asphalt Sealcoat Laborer

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Asphalt Sealcoat Laborer to join our pavement maintenance team. This position is responsible for assisting with the preparation, repair, and sealing of commercial and industrial asphalt surfaces, including parking lots, roadways, and other paved areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare asphalt surfaces by cleaning, sweeping, and removing debris prior to sealcoat application.

  • Assist with crack filling, minor asphalt repairs, and surface preparation.

  • Apply sealcoat materials using squeegees, spray systems, and other specialized equipment.

  • Support pavement striping and marking operations as needed.

  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and pavement maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment to and from job sites.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.

  • Work collaboratively with crew members to complete projects on schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in asphalt sealcoating, construction, pavement maintenance, or related outdoor labor is preferred but not required.

  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.

  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

  • Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

  • Valid driver's license required; experience driving trucks and towing trailers is a plus.

  • CDL Class A or B is would be higher pay.
