Job description

POSITION OVERVIEWPosition may be work in shipping, receiving, insulation or sealing, and will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
KEY ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Insulates and assembles product for delivery.
  • Uses sealant to properly seal product.
  • Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
  • Opens containers.
  • Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
  • Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
  • Rotate material.
  • Transports materials from storage or work sites to shipping area.
  • Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
  • Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.
  • Loads/unloads truck for Industrial Truck Operator.
  • Assists in various departments as needed.
  • Other duties may be assigned. (Flexibility where needed)
  • Ability to learn multiple areas and processes.
