Description
Team Fishel , the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is hiring Utility Laborers for our Rochester, PA based operation supporting projects across the greater Pittsburgh area. A Utility Laborer at Team Fishel will assist the crew in completing the project safely, on time, and meeting the customer specifications for quality.
Responsibilities
  • Work safely as an essential part of our Team. Safety is our number one Core Value.
  • Assist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project as directed by the Crew Leader, Foreman, or Supervisor
  • Handle physically demanding construction duties in an outdoor environment
  • Assist crew members in placing underground pipes, conduits, shovel work, and in the operation of power tools
  • Be willing to learn career development skills related to utility construction, including the operation of equipment. Team Fishel will provide on-the-job training in all areas of safety, including flagging certification, tool operation and maintenance.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • No previous experience required, training available!
  • Must be able to follow instructions
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig and reach
  • Must be able to lift, carry and place heavy objects
  • Must be able to climb ladders
  • Must have the ability to work extended hours when needed
  • At least 18 years old with High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Meet all DOT requirements (physical and drug testing)
  • Regional travel required
  • Occasional extended travel required (Per Diem paid for all out-of-town projects)

Starting pay range for this position is $18 - $24 / hour and will be commensurate with skills, qualifications, and experience.
