General Summary
This role provides dealership consulting and support to enhance the Service Customer Experience while maintaining dealership profitability. The position focuses on strengthening customer perception of the Kia brand and dealer, and maximizing repeat purchase intent. The District Parts & Service Manager supports dealers in marketing Kia parts and accessories, increasing service retention, and ensuring compliance with all Kia America (KUS) standards and policies. Regular dealership visits are an essential function of this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1st Priority - 30%

Customer Experience: Manages and directs all District Service activities in accordance with KUS corporate and regional policies and procedures.  This includes achievement of all Customer Satisfaction, Service Retention, and Quality initiatives and targets.

2nd Priority - 30%
Parts Sales & Marketing: Manages and directs all District  Parts activities in accordance with KUS corporate and regional policies and procedures.  This includes PIO/DIO, drop ship, parts and service marketing, and achievement of monthly and annual parts sales targets.

3rd Priority - 20%

Warranty: Lead all District Warranty activities in accordance with KUS corporate and regional policies and procedures.

4th Priority - 10%

Training: Manages and directs all District Fixed Operations Training activities in accordance with KUS corporate and regional policies and procedures.

5th Priority - 10%

Customer Care Consulting: Manages and directs all District Customer Care activities, including limited technical assistance, Express Service, and Kia Service Rental Program, in accordance with KUS corporate and regional policies and procedures.

Personally Performed Duties

  • Conduct annual and ongoing business planning with dealerships, including parts and labor forecasting, capacity planning, financial goals, and customer experience initiatives.
  • Drive achievement of customer satisfaction and retention objectives using customer feedback, audits, mystery shopping, and performance monitoring.
  • Ensure dealer compliance with all Kia America (KUS) standards, policies, warranty requirements, and incentive programs.
  • Support dealer development through staff training, coaching, and implementation of service technologies and retention programs.
  • Promote Kia parts, accessories, and service programs; oversee marketing efforts and fixed operations coop expenditures.
  • Guide parts inventory management, specialorder procedures, and reporting to meet business goals.
  • Support warranty operations, audits, labor rate submissions, and documentation accuracy.
  • Facilitate KUS training enrollments, support new dealers, and maintain training records.
  • Provide customer care consulting, complaint resolution, goodwill guidance, and technical assistance, including campaign support and quality feedback to KUS.
Qualifications/Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Job Requirement

Overall Related Experience

  • Specialized OEM automotive vocational or technical training preferred.
  • Wholesale and retail dealership experience preferred.
  • Business consulting experience.

Directly Related Experience

  • Demonstrated evidence of technical aptitude, either via formal education or hands-on automotive experience.
  • Understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and cost management.
  • Ability to negotiate and resolve owner concerns consistent with KUS policies/procedures.
  • Ability to develop a business case and deliver to dealership management teams.
  • Ability to lead district-level meetings and deliver meaningful communications.

Position Requirements

  • Frequent travel may be required domestically and/or internationally.
  • Daily/weekly/monthly dealer visits are required and an essential function of this position.
  • Frequent travel may include but is not limited to monthly/quarterly/annual visits to Regional Offices or Headquarters as required by the job.
  • May need to work additional hours outside of normal business hours as required by the job, including weekends or holidays.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to relocate to a new location if requested by the company.
  • Must have valid Driver's License and maintain a responsible record that meets the criteria established by KUS.
  • Required to drive a company vehicle.
Specialized Skills and Knowledge Required
  • Working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft suite of software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to support multiple projects and ad-hoc assignments
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and responsible driving record.

Pay Range

$89,936.24 - $121,409.23 

Pay will be based on several variables that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, etc.
