Job description

Production Operator – Filler/Strainer, McCarran, NV

Starting pay: $23.61 per hour

Shift: 4 x 10 - Monday- Thursday, 4:00 AM - 2:30 PM, overtime as needed

As a Production Operator – Filler/Strainer, you will be part of a team that works together to manufacture and package quality paints,stainsand other materials.This work is completed in our production plantsutilizingautomated filling equipment.We need self-driven employees that understand collaboration and efficiency. Every day you will have an opportunity to contribute and succeed.

Key Responsibilities May Include

  • Work in a PSM (Process Safety Management) building that includes solvents and solvent‑borne materials.

  • Comply withall safety rules and standard safety practices.

  • Set up, monitor, troubleshoot, and interact with filling equipment asrequired.

  • Perform quality inspections and checks (e.g., lift weights, labeling, coding checks, etc.).

  • Communicateissues in the department or with equipment to management or maintenance personnel.

  • Lift cases or pails of product as needed onto filling line conveyors.

  • Drive powered industrial truck (PIT) to supply or remove materials or finished products.

  • Keep work areas clean andmaintainexpected housekeeping standards.

  • Maintain and/orassistwith production line efficiency improvements.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be18 years of age or older.

  • Ability to workovertimeas needed.

  • Able toread, understand, and followinstructions and operating procedures in English.

  • Able to wear all requiredPPE, including hard hat, FR uniform, steel/composite‑toe safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, and other protective gear.

  • Comfortable working in environments withtemperature variations.

  • Able tostand forlong periodsandclimb stairs.

  • Able tobend, reach, and liftduring tasks that involvetransferhoses, drums, or similar materials.

  • Ability tolift upto 50 lbs.

  • Ability to safelyoperateaPowered Industrial Truck (PIT).

  • Basiccomputer skills(e.g., SAP, Vorne, or similar systems).

  • Ability tocomplete anddemonstrateunderstanding of required safety training.
