Job Description Summary

Lead On the Frontlines in Atlanta! 🏗

Ready to step up into a hands-on crew leadership role with an industry leader? Sunbelt Rentals-the fastest-growing rental business in North America-is hiring a Scaffold Crew Lead (E&D Foreman 1) to guide job site execution right here in the Greater Atlanta, GA area.

What You'll Do
  • Crew Leadership: Direct and supervise a crew (or up to 3 lead carpenters and their teams) to safely erect and dismantle various types of complex scaffolding systems.

  • Hands-On & Field Execution: Serve as an active leader on site-working with your tools when needed while ensuring jobs are completed safely and on schedule.

  • Site Documentation & Planning: Perform daily JSAs, safety plans, scaffold inspection checklists, delivery/pickup tickets, and extra work authorizations under the guidance of the Field Supervisor.

  • Mentorship: Coach and develop scaffold lead carpenters and helpers to help them hone their skills and grow within the company.

📍 Location Requirement: This position is based on-site at our Atlanta branch (30312) with daily travel to local project sites across the metro area. Candidates must currently live in or around Greater Atlanta.

Please note: Relocation assistance, housing stipends, and visa sponsorship are not provided for this role. Non-local applicants requiring relocation will not be considered.

Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenter or approved equivalent scaffolding experience.

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of OSHA scaffolding regulations and various scaffold material systems and load limits.

  • Requirements: High School Diploma/GED, valid driver's license, ability to work comfortably at heights, and physical ability to lift 40+ lbs regularly.

  • Bonus Skills: Trade school completion and/or bilingual abilities (English/Spanish).

Base Pay Range: $21.38 - 26.72
