General Laborer / Mounted Wheel Laborer

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary
McCarthy Tire Service is looking for a dependable and hardworking General Laborer / Mounted Wheel Laborer to support our warehouse and production operations.
This hands-on position involves mounting and dismounting tires, mounted wheel assembly, tire balancing, material handling, loading and unloading, and general shop duties. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, physically capable, reliable, and willing to learn.
Responsibilities
  • Mount and dismount tires from wheels according to company standards.
  • Assist with tire balancing using approved equipment.
  • Move and organize tires, wheels, and mounted wheel assemblies.
  • Load and unload trailers, trucks, and delivery vehicles.
  • Operate shop equipment and tools safely.
  • Inspect tires, wheels, and assemblies for damage or defects.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Assist with inventory, material staging, and other warehouse tasks.
  • Complete required paperwork accurately.
  • Support team members with production and general labor duties.
  • Follow all company safety procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous warehouse, manufacturing, automotive, tire, or general labor experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials.
