Production Material Handler - B & C shift

Join a stable company offering steady work with standard hours and weekly paychecks in a safe clean environment. We offer a wide range of employment opportunities from entry level to more challenging in the plastics injection molding field.

Please note this is not a warehouse job but on the Production floor

Hours:

Bshift 3:15pm - 11:45pm

Cshift 11:15pm - 7:45am

Essential Functions:

· Drain materials from previous job and remove from machines

· Place drained materials in designated areas

· Clean hoppers, grinders, and staging hoppers in accordance with training procedures

· Place appropriate loader hoses on machines

· Ensure that material to be loaded matches the work order Bill-of-Material

· Notify material coordinator or molding supervisor prior to loading hoppers

· Set proper drying temperatures per labor router or material specifications for specified materials in hoppers

· Quality check hopper temperatures, quality check all latches and safety chains on hoppers and loaders prior to operation of machines

· Complete hopper tags and tag hoppers

· Operate Grinding machines and equipment to recycle scrap product

· Drive tow motor or use hand trucks to move materials as needed

· Must be able to work outside normal working hours, including overtime or alternate shifts to accommodate production needs when required.

· Performs related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Attendance is critical as is being on time

  • Must be able to multi-task and work successfully in a fast paced environment, with strong attention to safety.

  • Basic math, reading, communication skills, and good organizational skills.

  • HS diploma or GED required

  • Dexterity

  • Good time management

  • Lifting up to 50 pounds

  • Must be able to work overtime

  • Requires 1-3 years in plastic molding experience
