Laborer is responsible for a variety of tasks at the jobsites. Laborers are required to work outside in all kinds of weather or in buildings without heating or air conditioning. Comprehensive understanding of the importance of jobsite safety is a must. Relocation for duration of project may be required.
Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret all construction related documents. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Physical Requirements:
Working Conditions: The associate occasionally works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme heat, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
