What are some common challenges faced during laboratory relocations and how are they managed?

Laboratory relocations often involve the safe transport of delicate equipment, hazardous materials, and temperature-sensitive samples, which can present significant logistical and regulatory challenges. Professionals in this role carefully plan each stage, coordinate with vendors and scientific staff, and adhere to strict safety and compliance guidelines to minimize risks. Teams typically conduct pre-move assessments and develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions. Collaboration with researchers, facility managers, and external movers is key to ensuring a smooth transition.
