Education Requirements:
โ€ข High School Diploma
Required experience:
โ€ข Minimum 2 years of relevant experience. Metrology experience preferred.
โ€ข Advanced computer skills using MS Outlook, Teams, Project, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe.
Specific physical requirements include:
โ€ข Must be able to lift, box, and unbox up to 45 lbs unassisted
โ€ข Must be able to move pallets using a pallet jack.
โ€ข Must be able to walk(5-10miles) everyday, sit and stand for longer duration.
โ€ข Able to drive golf cart.
โ€ข Have a valid driver's licence.
Preferred experiences include:
โ€ข Experience in device and combination product characterization & mechanical testing is highly preferred.
โ€ข Experience in GXP-Analytical laboratory testing or management is highly preferred.
โ€ข SAP/Concur or related system experience processing purchase orders (PO), expense reports, payment requests, vendor add forms, as well as stockroom inventory reports.

Associate Specialist, Laboratory Operations - Device Development & Technology
The greatest inventions would not be brought to market without the right project management and operations/administrative support. Woven into every part of Research Laboratories (RL), our operations/administrative team ensures that our R&D concepts become a reality for patients worldwide.
The MRL Device Development & Technology (DD&T) Organization within Pharmaceutical Sciences & Global Clinical Supply (PSCS) is seeking a highly motivated, Associate Specialist to support laboratory operations.
โ€ข The position is an in-person position, operating from our Rahway, New Jersey site.
โ€ข This position will receive day-to-day responsibilities from the Senior Specialist, Laboratory Operations Management - Device & Combination Product development.
The primary activities of this position include and are not limited to the following:
โ€ข Coordinate and perform general laboratory administrative duties including, but not limited to, maintaining testing, calibration and equipment maintenance scheduling, ordering routine & specialty supplies, and facilities management.
โ€ข Maintain development and GXP laboratory equipment and instrumentation in accordance with internal and industry best-practices/standards.
โ€ข Coordinate laboratory technical & safety training, including documentation lifecycle management.
โ€ข Collaborate with key internal & external (outside DD&T) stakeholders to coordinate/arrange new vendor technology evaluations.
โ€ข Support team with laboratory procurement needs including purchase orders, invoice payments and expense tracking.
โ€ข Support team with domestic and international shipping of equipment (testing & manufacturing) and product samples (drug & combination product).
โ€ข Extraordinary attention to detail, independent judgement, and the ability to prioritize and execute work activities with minimal supervision.
