**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Responsibilities
Position reports to the Director of Laboratory Operations or designee. Perform a wide variety of duties including system-wide responsibility for planning and coordinating fiscal functions in the SHG laboratories including planning, compiling, analyzing and recommending the operating and capital budgets related to all Laboratory departments. Duties extend to fiscal forecasts, audits, monitoring labor productivity and expenses, and analyzing and tracking the profitability of the system-wide outreach program as well as laboratory work queue management. The position is responsible for Regulatory Compliance activities of the laboratory including CAP preparation, State and Federal Regulatory Compliance and other areas as needed. Responsible for assisting with the planning and overseeing of laboratory projects.
Qualifications
  • A Baccalaureate degree in Medical Technology with certification as MT (ASCP) or CLS (NCA) is required.
  • A Master's degree in Business Administration, Health Services Administration or other related field is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of personal computer systems, management information systems, and related software is required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of budgeting principles including ability to prepare and interpret financial reports and develop business plans for capital equipment is required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in management of laboratory quality improvement programs is required.
  • A minimum of five (5) years experience in a healthcare facility with at least three (3) years of leadership experience is preferred.
  • MT(ASCP) or CLS (NCA) certification is required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
Pay Range
USD $90,916.80 - USD $131,185.60 /Yr.
