A nationally-ranked 150-bed hospital is actively hiring a MT or MLT. They are offering competitive pay rates, long-term career development, and an excellent employee benefits package! Here is more information about the position:
Job Description:
- Responsible for sample processing, test performance, and reporting of test results
- Units in the department include: Blood Bank, Reference, Hematology, Chemistry, and Microbiology.
- The MLS|MT|MLT works successfully both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited Medical Technologist program OR appropriate science degree or sufficient coursework with an internship or training in a clinical laboratory setting which will support MLS, MT or MLT certification requirements.
- Clinical laboratory experience.
- Experience with quality improvement, quality control, equipment maintenance and laboratory safety is desired.
- MLS, MT or MLT licensure is preferred, but willing to consider a candidate that is ASCP-BOC or AAB registry eligible.
