Job description

Job Description The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Global Support Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.

Assist our company's Global Industrial Hygiene (IH) Laboratory with processing and reporting of occupational exposure samples.

Projects
  • Sample preparation
  • Instrument setup and clean up
  • IH method validations
  • Data entry
  • Housekeeping tasks
  • Organizing files
  • Performing document reviews
  • Performing literature searches and summaries for emerging analyses

Other administrative duties when reporting samples may also be required.

Required Education

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Microbiology or other related degree.

Required Qualifications
  • Should have completed at least 2 years of college course work
  • Must be able to work full time for a period of 10-12 weeks
  • Critical thinking, communication, problem solving and computer skills
  • Ability to receive verbal or written direction and implement corresponding changes
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate ideas and explain decisions in a clear and understandable manner
  • Ability to work in a small team
  • Analytical instrument operation
  • College chemistry course in quantitative analysis
