Clinical Instructor, Dental Hygiene (3806)

Pocatello - Main
Not eligible for remote work, on-campus position

Job Description

The successful candidate will be teaching in both clinical and laboratory settings and contributing to professional and community service. This is a half-time (0.5 FTE) faculty position, working 9 months per year.

This position is not eligible for new visa sponsorship at this time. Candidates who already hold valid U.S. work authorization may be considered.

- Didactic, laboratory, and clinical instruction (98%)

Minimum Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene or a related field (required to align with ISU's B.S. in Dental Hygiene curriculum).
-Graduation from an ADA-accredited dental hygiene program.
-Active Idaho Dental Hygiene license (or eligibility to obtain one prior to hire).
-Educational background and clinical experience in nonsurgical periodontal therapy.
-Demonstrated clinical competency in administering local anesthesia.

Additional Information

You must submit your CV/resume, cover letter, a copy of your Dental Hygiene License, and list of three (3) professional references, including current contact information. This position will remain open until it is filled; however, priority consideration will be given to applications received on or before September 7, 2026. Salary will be between $26,621 and $29,567 per year, commensurate with education and experience.
