About the role

We are seeking Laboratory Analysts to support testing within our food testing laboratory. ALS Food Safety provides an extensive range of testing services for a variety of industries and products. This role is responsible for performing microbiological and chemical tests on food products to ensure quality, safety, and compliance. The ideal candidate will follow all quality and safety guidelines while maintaining productivity and accuracy in a fast-paced environment. We work closely with our clients to ensure their needs are met now and in the future.

ALS is currently recruiting Laboratory Analysts in our Willmar, MN Food Lab.

About you

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Life Science degree is a positive
  • Good communication and collaboration skills (Teamwork!)
  • Detailed oriented, organized, and good at multi-tasking
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Previous experience in a laboratory setting or food industry is a plus

Working conditions

  • A 5 day a week schedule, including weekend rotation
  • Fast-paced laboratory environment
  • The ability to stand for a good portion of the workday while performing the duties of this position
