Clinical Laboratory - Medical Technologist

This position requires a 10-hour night shift, specifically from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, working a 10x4 schedule.
Job Description
The Medical Technologist is responsible for performing specimen testing and analysis in the clinical laboratory setting. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience within the specialty and will be expected to adhere to the facility's standards and protocols.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct laboratory tests on various specimens.
  • Adhere to safety and regulatory protocols.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure it is functioning properly.
  • Document test results accurately and promptly.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical laboratory experience.
  • Required certifications include ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, or HHS.
  • Preferred experience in a clinical lab setting.
  • Candidates must be a Med Technologist or Med Lab Scientist; Med Lab Technician candidates will not be considered.
Holiday Requirements
Candidates must be available to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
