The LABoratory, a Ruby Devine salon, is a dynamic and innovative hair salon dedicated to exceptional service and continuous growth. We are looking for a passionate, reliable Salon Coordinator to join our team and uphold our high standards of professionalism and client care.

Ruby Devine has been in the beauty industry since 2000 and has cultivated an unparallelled team of Stylists and beauty professionals as the owner of The LABoratory. Our salon is considered an "all around" service salon-we take on clients ranging from ages 4-84 and specialize in dynamic color services such as blonding, balayage, and fashion color.

As we enter a growth phase, we’re seeking a Salon Coordinator to join our team. As Salon Coordinator you will be the first point of contact for our clients, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment. Your role will involve administrative duties, scheduling appointments, managing client relations, and supporting our team of stylists. Some industry knowledge and experience, either as a Salon Coordinator or in a similar administrative role, is preferred, and we will train the right person. Enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a desire to learn and grow are as important as experience.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Greet and assist clients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Schedule and manage appointments efficiently

  • Support stylists with administrative tasks as needed
  • Ensure smooth daily operations of the salon
  • Utilize Meevo Salon Software (POS) to maintain seamless operation of salon

Job Qualifications:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a salon coordinator or similar administrative role is preferred, however, we will train the right person
  • Some experience with Meevo Salon Software POS preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate articulately verbally and in writing
  • Proficient in using salon management software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A passion for the beauty industry and a commitment to exceptional client service
