ROLE AT A GLANCE:ย 

The Senior Laboratory Auditor plays a key role in protecting Herbalife's commitment to quality, safety, and consumer trust. This position is responsible for planning, leading, and executing audits of internal and external laboratories to ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements, ISO/IEC 17025 standards, and Herbalife's internal quality expectations.

Serving as a strategic quality partner, the Senior Laboratory Auditor provides oversight of third-party laboratory performance by evaluating technical competency, data integrity, and compliance practices. This role proactively identifies quality and compliance risks, develops effective mitigation strategies, and collaborates cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to continuously strengthen Herbalife's laboratory network and support our mission of helping people live healthier, more active lives.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:External Laboratory Auditingย ย ย ย Lead, plan, and perform audits of external laboratories performing testing on behalf of the company.ย ย ย ย Evaluate compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025, cGMP, GLP), internal standards, and contractual requirements.ย ย ย ย Assess laboratory technical competency in areas such as method execution, instrumentation, data integrity, documentation, training, and quality control.ย ย ย ย Identify risks, gaps, and non conformances; classify findings; and ensure audit conclusions are objective and evidence based.ย ย ย ย Prepare high quality audit reports with clear findings, root cause insights, and recommended corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Vendor Qualification & Performance Oversightย ย ย ย Support qualification and onboarding of new external labs.ย ย ย ย Work with cross-functional team to evaluate lab capabilities, equipment, capacity, and quality systems.ย ย ย ย Monitor ongoing performance of external labs, including quality metrics, issue trends, and compliance history.ย ย ย ย Conduct risk based requalification audits and maintain approved vendor status.Quality & Compliance Leadershipย ย ย ย Act as subject matter expert on laboratory compliance, laboratory quality systems, external testing oversight, and data integrity.ย ย ย ย Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve quality events related to external lab testing.ย ย ย ย Ensure alignment with internal Herbalife policies, global standards, and regulatory expectations.ย ย ย ย Develop framework and support development of the company's laboratory audit and compliance program.ย CAPA & Continuous Improvementย ย ย ย Work with external labs to ensure timely and effective CAPA responses.ย ย ย ย Verify CAPA implementation and closure.ย ย ย ย Identify and drive improvements in audit processes, templates, tools, and training.ย ย ย ย Support harmonization of global quality standards and best practices.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS:ย 

Educationย ย ย ย Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, or related field.ย ย ย ย ย 7+ years of relevant experience in laboratory operations, quality assurance, auditing, or regulatory compliance.
