Job description

(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Medical Technologist - Histology - NEW Histotech OR Histology Technician Opening at a laboratory in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This laboratory prides itself on using the most innovative technologies and techniques available. In addition, this laboratory is fully automated and is able to provide more consistent and accurate results. In addition, their technology enables their patient safety efforts through a bar code system that tracks specimens as they move through the lab, reducing the risk of any errors.This growing laboratory has locations throughout the Midwest as well as the East Coast but is hiring for their Wisconsin-based laboratory. This is a permanent and full time position on either evenings or nights with some flexibility. The histotech will be responsible for complex histological procedures and techniques such as grossing, cutting, staining, drying and freezing as well as preparing tissue specimens for routine and special procedures. For consideration, applicants must have his or her HT or HTL ASCP Certification as well as an Associate's Degree in Histology or a related field.
