POSITION:
Director, School of Kinesiology,University of Louisiana at Lafayette, nine-month tenure appointment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will directthe School of Kinesiology and meet tenure criteria in teaching, research, andservice and in addition, qualify for rank as associate or full professor(tenure criteria can be provided upon request). Responsibilities includeserving as an academic administrator to a dynamic, multidisciplinary faculty,encouraging professional growth, communicating pertinent information to thediverse university community, faculty, staff, and students.
ADMINISTRATIVE UNIT:
UL Lafayette is the largest of ninepublicly supported universities in the University of Louisiana system with anenrollment of approximately 19,000 students. The School of Kinesiology housesboth graduate (M.S. Athletic Training, Exercise Science, Sports Management,Health Promotion and Wellness) and undergraduate programs (B.S. PhysicalEducation, Exercise Science, Sport Management, Health Promotion and Wellness) withover a total of 1000 enrolled students.
