MLT PRN (as needed)
Requirements
Previous Experience Required
Preferred but not required-5 years experience as an MLT
Specialized or Technical Education Required
Must have an associates degree from an approved Medical Laboratory training program OR High School diploma or equivalent w/5 years of experience.
Must have and maintain a current Louisiana license as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist through the LA State Board of Medical Examiners. Must be willing, trained, competent, and working on a routine basis in all areas of the laboratory.
Manual or Physical Skill Required
Proper body mechanics and lifting techniques. Sufficient dexterity to perform laboratory and other patient care skills. Must have good visual acuity to perform inventory and administrative skills.
