Job description

Medical Laboratory Technicians (VA Support)

We're actively seeking Medical Laboratory Technicians to support a critical healthcare mission serving our nation's Veterans. This is an opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care in a professional, team-driven environment.

Medical Laboratory Technicians will perform a range of routine and specialized laboratory procedures across areas such as hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, microbiology, and immunohematology. This role is essential in ensuring accurate diagnostics, maintaining lab equipment, and supporting timely, reliable patient results.

Location: Columbia, SC

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or related field
  • Certifications: ASCP or AMT certification (or equivalent MLT/MLS/CLS certification) required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a generalist in a clinical laboratory
  • Ability to perform testing in all major lab areas (chemistry, hematology, microbiology, Blood Bank / Transfusion Services and Urinalysis).

Shift Options:

  • Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Evening Shift: 4:00 PM – Midnight
  • Night Shift: Midnight – 8:00 AM
  • (Weekends & holidays included)

Contract Term: Base period + four (4) option years
