Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by performing laboratory tests and analyses. This position requires a strong understanding of laboratory techniques, excellent data analysis skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties
  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests, including but not limited to PCR, immunoassays, and specimen collection processing.
  • Conduct phlebotomy procedures and monitor vital signs as needed.
  • Maintain laboratory management protocols to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Utilize laboratory information management systems for accurate data entry and tracking of specimens.
  • Assist in the preparation of samples for analysis and ensure proper handling throughout the testing process.
  • Uphold cleanliness and organization within the laboratory environment to promote efficiency and safety.
  • Perform daily maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.
  • Participate in Quality Control (QC) and Quality Management (QM) for area assigned.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in medical laboratory technology or a related field is preferred.
  • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in various laboratory techniques, including specimen collection processing and immunoassays.
  • Strong data analysis skills with attention to detail for accurate test result interpretation.
