Job description

A local based labor union representing a wide range of industries is seeking a Full-time Receptionist. Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus. Hours are Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm. Pay starts at $18 and increases as duties are increased. We are looking for a self-starter and someone who has kept up with their computer skills.


Once hired perm, extremely competitive benefits package (including medical, dental, RX, Vision) 401k plus a Pension, vacation and sick time accruals.


In this role you will perform the following tasks:

  • Answer phones/manage switchboard. Screen and transfer calls.
  • Assist members as they call in.
  • Will assist with digital file processing on a daily/weekly basis
  • Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets with data entry
  • General clerical duties
  • General administrative duties
  • General light accounting duties such as matching invoices.
