Clerk III

Job Title: General Clerk III (SCA)
Location: Kittery, ME
Wage: $ 22.62/Hr. +$5.09 H & W
Contract: SUBMEPP

This is a Service Contract Act position and is subject to the applicable wage determination as issued by the U.S. Department of Labor. Health & Welfare benefits are provided in accordance with the SCA.

Job Description:

Support SUBMEPP's mission to keep assigned Naval ships and submersibles safe, reliable, and affordable through use of its engineered life cycle maintenance and modernization products and services. Support/Perform duties and responsibilities to provide and maintain engineered life cycle maintenance products in direct support of the Fleet, shipyards, industrial facilities, and NAVSEA. In addition, support/perform specific Life Cycle Engineering Management and technical functions.

Five (5) years' experience. Uses some subject-matter knowledge and judgment to complete assignments consisting of numerous steps that vary in nature and sequence. Selects from alternative methods and refers problems not solvable by adapting or interpreting substantive guides, manuals or procedures. Typical duties include: assisting in a variety of administrative matters, maintaining a wide variety of financial or other records, verifying statistical reports for accuracy and completeness, and handling and adjusting complaints. May also direct lower level clerks.

Requirements:

High school/vocational school degree or GED certificate.

Must be able to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance
