Position Summary:
The Labor Management Analyst II supports Covenant Health's Labor Management function through analytics, productivity reporting, governance support, and planning activities. The position develops and maintains reports, performs staffing and productivity analyses, and provides timely, data-driven insights to support decision-making.
The role works closely with Finance, Human Resources, Nursing, and Operations leaders to support productivity improvement initiatives, Labor Steering Committee processes, staffing standardization efforts, planning activities, and scheduling optimization. Responsibilities include maintaining reporting systems, ensuring data integrity, supporting process improvement initiatives, and coordinating governance and reporting activities that enhance operational efficiency, labor performance, and organizational accountability.
Responsibilities
Labor Analytics & Reporting
  • Develop and maintain labor productivity, staffing, and labor management reports.
  • Support labor variance analysis and performance monitoring activities.
  • Prepare routine scorecards, dashboards, and reporting packages for leadership.
  • Assist with labor benchmarking and comparative performance analyses.
  • Monitor labor performance data and identify trends requiring further review.
  • Provide analytical support for productivity improvement initiatives and staffing optimization efforts.
  • Maintain staffing grids and workforce management tools.
  • Support position control, staffing requests, vacancy tracking, and related labor management planning activities.

Labor Governance & Process Support
  • Support Labor Steering Committee, and related labor governance activities.
  • Prepare meeting materials, documentation, and follow-up reports.
  • Track decisions, action items, and follow-up activities.
  • Assist in reviewing staffing requests, labor proposals, and organizational change requests for completeness and accuracy.
  • Support the development and maintenance of standardized labor-related templates, job aids, playbooks, and tools.

Data Integrity & Operational Support
  • Maintain labor management databases, staffing grids, and reporting tools.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of labor-related data and reporting.
  • Support labor planning, staffing projection, and workforce analysis activities.
  • Assist with scheduling optimization, labor utilization, and workforce management initiatives.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to productivity, labor reporting, analytics, and governance processes.
  • Maintain SharePoint resources, templates, and labor management documentation.
  • Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, operations management, finance, business administration, data analytics, or a related field.
Minimum Experience:
Two (2) to four (4) years of relevant experience with advanced Microsoft Office skills.
