Job description

We are seeking a skilled CDL A / B Box Truck Driver to join our team in Highland, CA. This is a full-time, day shift role with a Monday–Sunday variable schedule and a temp-to-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will safely operate a variety of transportation vehicles, support hospital operations, transport materials and patients, and maintain equipment in a fast-paced healthcare environment and have a flexible schedule..

Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, and deliver hospital items (food, laundry, supplies, equipment, and related materials) using box trucks, refrigerated trucks, and light trucks.
  • Transport patients throughout secured hospital areas using a 24-passenger bus.
  • Collect and dispose of refuse and recyclables using a refuse packer (trash truck).
  • Perform pre-trip inspections, maintain logs, and service/fuel assigned vehicles and equipment.
  • Assist with office moves, event setups, and other hospital operational needs as required.

Requirements:

  • Valid California Class A or B Driver License with Air Brake and Passenger Endorsement Required.
  • Ability to operate box trucks, refrigerated trucks, passenger buses, refuse packers, and forklifts.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hospital setting.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow safety procedures.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends.
  • Must pass a drug screen, background check (including LIVE SCAN), and TB test.
