Job description


Job Summary: The Label Room Coordinator is responsible for preparation for label printing, reading requisitions, understanding lot control, print quality verification, grading of print and barcodes, using multiple types of software to print and verify labels. Must understand complex schedules and maintain communication with both the planning and production departments. This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and is based in Pittsfield, ME.

Responsibilities:

  • Prints and inventories labels as directed by production planning
  • Verification of all correct, pertinent, and required information on labels.
  • Maintenance of printers as required.
  • Maintain appropriated stock of needed materials and labels.
  • Occasionally hand labels chipboards.
  • Follows documented policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Detailed oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Time Management.
  • Clearly communicate both verbally and written.
  • Basic mathematics and computer skills.


Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasionally lift 50 lbs. and regularly lift to 30-40lbs, handle tasks involving frequent bending, twisting, lifting, squatting, walking, and standing.
  • Must be able and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
