We're seeking a Production Forklift Operator who's ready to be part of a people-first company offering best-in-class products, exceptional training, and deep industry pride-all built to help our partners and team succeed.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Production Forklift operator is responsible for transporting materials in a production setting in various locations of the facility in a safe, efficient, and organized manner.

The pay rate is $27.24 per hour and is 1st shift (5:30am - 4:00pm).ย  Includes Mondays during busy season.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Safely operate mobile equipment in a safe manner.
  • Perform piece counts, labeling, and visual quality of finished goods.
  • Move production supplies from the warehouse and load in specified designated areas.
  • Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.)
  • Control and adjust machine settings. Identify damages, and report any shortages.
  • Test the operation of machines periodically.
  • Fix issues that might occur during the shift.
  • Complete Production/Activity Logs.
  • Track/move work in process to/from various production areas and finished goods into the Warehouse.
  • Maintain the 5S posture of the assigned area.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required.

Required Work Experience:

  • Basic Math, Language, reading, and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to handle equipment in a safe and sensible manner.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs including use of lifting assistance devices
  • Ability to stand for extended period of time
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, squat, kneel as required
  • Ability to operate mobile equipment as required
  • The ability to work in an indoor, dusty non-temperature controlled, industrial manufacturing and warehouse environment. Subject to varying cold and hot temperatures.
  • Ability to perform occasional outdoor activities in hot or adverse weather.
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
