Job description

Job Highlights:

  • Running 24 hrs: 5 AM - 5 PM FOR DAY SHIFT
  • Running 24 hrs: 5 PM - 5 AM FOR NIGHT SHIFT
  • Paid biweekly

Job Description

Packers will take finished products off of the conveyor, complete a quality check and pack the approved product according to shipping instructions from opuor customer.

Essential Functions

Duties may include, but are not restricted to, one or more of the following:

  • Understand and maintain a working knowledge of Quality Procedures and Work Instructions

  • Ability to operate at least half of the machines

  • Ability to operate multiple conveyors at a time

  • Perform any secondary operations and/or rework as instructed

  • Inspect parts for defects, and ensure accuracy of carton quantities

  • Inspect carton label for accuracy and place label on carton

  • Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and effective work environment

  • Communicate to Supervisors, and Team Leads of activity/problems that occur

  • Sign off on Training Log in mold book

  • Additional duties may be requested by supervisor

  • Regular attendance and punctuality

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Able to read and interpret written information

  • Follow policies and procedures

  • Monitors own work to ensure quality

  • Meets productivity standards

  • Uses equipment and materials properly

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to life 35 lbs

  • Manual hand dexterity

  • Ability to stand for 12 hours, lifting, turning, twisting, reaching, pulling, and pushing

  • Must be able to detect defects visually
