MACHINE OPERATOR | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

  • Location: Cockeysville MD 21031 – 100% on-site
  • Payrate: $18.55/hr
  • Required Availability: Full-Time | 3rd Shift, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
    • Overtime may be required based on production needs

MACHINE OPERATOR | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining automated production equipment while ensuring product quality, safety, and compliance with manufacturing standards.

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

MACHINE OPERATOR | RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set up, operate, and monitor automated manufacturing equipment
  • Adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and production efficiency
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and minor equipment repairs
  • Troubleshoot machine and product quality issues
  • Inspect in-process materials and remove defective products
  • Complete quality, safety, and maintenance documentation accurately
  • Assist with root cause investigations and process improvement activities
  • Follow established operating procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Support production, packaging, labeling, assembly, and inspection operations as needed

MACHINE OPERATOR | REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable); Technical Associate Degree accepted in lieu of experience
  • Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience required
  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to read charts, follow diagrams, and complete documentation required
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Windows-based systems
  • Ability to recognize and respond to process deviations
  • Strong troubleshooting and decision-making abilities
