The Production Operator is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient manufacture of products according to defined processes and quality standards. This role performs hands-on production tasks including batching, blending, filling, packaging, and equipment cleaning. The Production Operator ensures that daily production targets are met while maintaining a clean, compliant, and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and mix raw materials according to batch sheets and production specifications
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and effectively during the production process
  • Accurately fill, label, and package finished goods in compliance with quality standards
  • Conduct routine equipment cleaning and maintenance to ensure readiness and safety
  • Maintain production records, including quantities, batch numbers, and time logs
  • Report any deviations, quality issues, or safety concerns to the Site Leader or QC
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and quality procedures as required
  • Support inventory control through accurate material usage reporting and waste minimization
  • Other duties assigned by management

Key Deliverables:
  • Consistent on-time completion of assigned batches with minimal rework or errors
  • Compliance with safety and PPE protocols at all times
  • Accurate reporting of material usage and production data
  • Clean and organized work area maintained daily

Reporting Structure:
  • Reports To: Production Supervisor
  • Direct Reports: None

Educational Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • Technical or vocational training in manufacturing (preferred)

Required Experience:
  • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment
  • Ability to operate equipment and follow batch/formulation instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality standards
  • Physical ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods

Working Conditions:

Effort/Physical Demands:
