Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Press Operator for a full-time position on the 3rd shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) at our Hightstown, NJ location. This on-site role involves operating printing presses, ensuring the setup and maintenance of equipment, and monitoring all production processes. Duties include performing quality control checks, troubleshooting equipment to ensure efficiency, and collaborating with the team for pre-press preparations to meet production requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate printing press machinery according to job specifications.
  • Review job tickets, artwork, and materials to ensure correct setup and output.
  • Monitor press operations to maintain quality, color accuracy, and registration throughout the run.
  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting to keep equipment running efficiently.
  • Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain print quality and minimize waste.
  • Load and unload materials, ink, substrates, and other components required for production.
  • Work closely with production teams, quality assurance, and supervisors to meet production goals.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of inks, chemicals, and equipment.
  • Accurately document production data, waste logs, and machine performance.

Qualifications
  • Experience with Machine Operation and Printing processes
