Candidate must be flexible and open to work overtime hours on the weekends when requested by the manager, due to business needs.
High school or GED is not required.
Job group 1.
Candidate with previous work experience in a manufacturing environment will have first preference.
Candidates must have the ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend specifications written in English and perform basic math calculations.
Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis.

Position Summary:

Responsible for operating equipment in department safely and producing quality products per documentation.
Perform quality checks, changeovers, SAP data entries, and basic troubleshooting.
Ensures compliance withquality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal andsafety regulations, policies and procedures.Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function.Willing and able to upholdValues.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Work as one of a team for maximum effectiveness and optimal task methods, which includes product inspection, operating equipment, raw material and finished goods movements and clean room area and equipment cleaning / sanitizing
Perform visual inspections
Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment
Perform changeovers, line clearance and cleaning
Achieve production rate and quality goals on assigned equipment
Facilitate continuous operation of the equipment through breaks
Perform rework
Cross train where needed within the department to support the business
Maintain all quality and GMP standards
Perform needed SAP data entries
May require the use of 10x microscope, calipers, and/or other miscellaneous gauges
Participate on blitz teams as assigned
Achieving established production goals
Ensuring the quality of all product produced
Performing quality checks as designated
Ability to function as part of a team
Processing SAP and MES transactions for department
Assisting in the A process to identify root causes
Maintain compliance with all required document training
Operate lines in a safe and efficient manner
Drive department results by reducing downtime and completing tasks in an efficient manner
Maximize efficient time usage in the department

Education:
High School diploma/GED preferred
Experience:
Previous manufacturing experience preferred

Effectively works in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives. Makes effective decisions relative to position requirements. Must follow instructions and work within routine, standard practices, making decisions as required. Works under direct supervision, following standard operating procedures. High school diploma or equivalent. Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques and procedures within one skill area / process / method.
