Machine Operator

Location: Omaha, NE
Pay Rate: $20-$22
Job Type: Full-Time/Contract-to-Hire/Temporary

If you have experience setting up, running, and troubleshooting industrial machinery, we have an opportunity for you!


The Equipment You Know (And the Skills We Need):

We are hiring operators with experience in (but not limited to) the following machine types:

  • CNC & Machining: Mills, lathes, and routers.
  • Plastics & Molding: Injection molding, blow molding, and extrusion machines.
  • Packaging & Filling: Automated bottling lines, form-fill-seal machines, and cartoners.
  • Metal Fabrication: Brake presses, punch presses, shears, and stamping machines.
  • Converting & Printing: Slitters, rewinders, flexographic, or digital printing presses.
  • Process Equipment: Industrial mixers, blenders, and heat-treat ovens.


What You’ll Do:

As a Machine Operator, you are the captain of your equipment. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Setup & Changeovers: Prepare machines for production runs, including calibrating settings, loading raw materials, and performing efficient tooling changeovers.
  • Operation & Monitoring: Run the equipment efficiently while constantly monitoring gauges, dials, and digital screens to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify jams, misalignments, or mechanical faults quickly. Perform minor adjustments and basic preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Quality Assurance: Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures) and visual checks to verify that the final product meets strict tolerance and quality standards.
  • Safety & Compliance: Strictly follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and maintain a safe, clean work environment in accordance with OSHA standards.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: 1+ years of experience operating industrial machinery.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: You know your way around basic hand tools and possess strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Math & Blueprint Skills: Ability to read schematics, blueprints, or work orders, and perform basic industrial math (fractions, decimals).
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for an entire shift, lift up to 50lbs, and comfortably bend, reach, and move around large equipment.
  • Reliability: Excellent attendance history and a team-player mentality.
