Description

Maybury is growing and looking for a Parts Shipping and Receiving Associate. In this hands-on position, you will work as part of a dynamic team to support a variety of functions in our Parts Department.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Unpack and examine incoming parts shipments and vendor stock orders; verify information against bill of lading packaging lists; record damages or shortages.
  • Accurately and promptly pull purchased parts from stock to fill orders, shipments, consignments, van inventories, etc.
  • Prepare packages for shipment; including determining the best shipping method and weighing, labeling, and affixing postages.
  • Operate powered material handling equipment to move shipments from the shipping and receiving area to work or storage areas.
  • May press tires as well as deliver parts to customers and other Maybury locations as needed.
  • Updates work order system to notify Service Department team members about the status of their parts order and when requested items are received.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED and at least 3 months of related experience required.
  • Knowledge of Windows and intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Experience with GP Dynamics a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, as well as customer service and organizational skills required.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving history is required.
  • Must be able to frequently lift or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift or move up to 100 lbs.
