Job description

  • You will maintain a safe work environment and report all safety issues by following policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Frontline leadership for the Metlab and Inspection processes
  • Coordinate work schedule of all team members
  • Communicate and work well in a diverse environment
  • Support pre-audit, audit, and post audit tasks
  • Manage daily part flow in both areas, WIP moves and works to improve effectiveness of the processes
  • Manage Met Lab and Inspectors' workflow focusing on daily customer commits
  • Manage inventory of supplies to ensure no interruption of processes
  • Responsible for performance and conducts performance reviews for the team members
  • Assists the Plant Quality Manager with overtime, attendance and daily changes in staffing
  • Ensure proper training (safety, quality, process, etc.) is completed and documented with records
  • Coordinates calibration needs for devices within work scope
  • Ensure proper operation of measurement equipment by following operating instructions
  • Communicates with Engineering, Operations and Plant Leadership about rejections, failure modes and special cases on NCR'd parts
  • Assists Engineering, Quality and Operations in the investigation of non-conformities
  • This position must maintain a clean and organized (5S and lean practices) work environment by following guidelines and procedures and complying with all applicable requirements
  • Ensures proper documentation including details on all product certifications
  • Other duties as assigned
